Our Cocoon Silk Unity Veil brings something old (Filipino tradition) and something new (your love story) to your wedding day. The veil features scalloped edging with embroidery, done in a classic style similar to what your Filipino parents and grandparents would have used.

Made out of high-quality cocoon fabric, a material that inherits the best characteristics of both piña and jusi fabric. It is as smooth as the silk to the touch and as translucent as piña, making it an elegant and luxurious fabric for high-end wedding dresses and barongs.

How To Incorporate It Into Your Wedding

• The Wedding Unity Veil (or Couple Veil) is a traditional element of Filipino Catholic weddings. However, we encourage you to incorporate this Filipino custom into your wedding ceremony, no matter your religious background.

• The Veil is draped over the couple's shoulders to represent God's protection over the couple (in Christian ceremonies) or the love of friends and family (in non-religious weddings).

• The Veil Sponsors drape the veil onto the couple, pinning each end onto either the dress, suit, or bridal veil at shoulder height. The Unity Cord is then placed over the Veil.

• We recommend letting your veil air out a few days before your wedding ceremony to allow for the fabric to loosen and folds to smooth out.
